Dorsa Dehghani, a Baha’i Citizen, Was Arrested in Shiraz
HRANA News Agency – This evening, Monday, 24 Khordad [14 June], Dorsa Dehghani, a Baha’i citizen resident of Shiraz, was arrested by security forces at the city’s train station and taken to an unknown location. After the arrest, the security forces went together with the citizen to her residence and searched her house, confiscated some of her personal belongings and took them away.
Ms. Dehghani was arrested at around 4:00 p.m. at the Shiraz train station. After the citizen was arrested, security forces went to her residence, seized and confiscated some of her personal belongings, including cell phones, books, pictures, and Baha’i Writings.
The institution responsible for detaining her and her actual whereabouts are still unknown.
Hours ago, HRANA reported the arrest of another Baha’i resident of Shiraz, Sina Kamali Sarvestani, by security forces in front of his home. Prior to his arrest, officers searched his home and confiscated and took away a number of his personal belongings.
