The article in the London Times newspaper has had adverse effects amongst local and national circles

Covering the news of Ashoura mourning ceremonies in its 30 August issue, a reporter for the London Times Newspaper reports that the government has prevented the broadcasting of Mr. Falsafi’s speech in the radio owing to his anti-Baha’i speeches a while ago.

This news is an absolute fabrication. Owing to an illness, Mr. Falsafi has personally refused to accept the invitation of the Construction Workers’ Union, which holds annual mourning ceremonies during the Ashoura period at Soltani Mosque, and his speech has not been broadcast, since there has been no means to connect his sermon to the radio at other events. This has been the case, not the fabrications of the Times of London. At any rate, the publishing of this news has had an adverse effect among national and local circles.
