Why Was the Demolition of the Haziratu’l-Quds Entrusted to the Army?

On Sunday morning, the agents of the military governorate of Tehran, by order of General Bakhtiar, the army commander of Tehran, began the destruction of the dome of the Haziratu’l-Quds, and for receiving the blessings of this benevolent undertaking, General Batmanghelich, the chief army commander, participated personally in the destruction of the hub of corruption—its description has been published in another column. The eyewitnesses indicated that the task of the demolition of the nest of the Baha’is was entrusted to the army, in order to prevent the fanatical tension of other groups.

It is an undisputable fact that the closure and destruction of the cradle of espionage of the Baha’is is the absolute right of the government of Iran, lest it create a pretext for the foreigners and adversaries of the nation. In any case, we supplicate God, for the success of the imperial army in overthrowing the enemies of the religion and nation.
