Holding a Workshop on Critique of Sects and Religions
The first workshop on “Critique of Sects and Religions”, for Tollab [Students of Islamic Study and clergy], long-term emigrant missionaries and female missionaries of Amin Schools, was held in the Seminary of Golestan Province.
According to the Dana Information Network, quoted from Touba Golestan, “This workshop was planned and implemented by the deputy of propaganda and practical training of Golestan Province, on 13 and 14 Shahrivar [4 and 5 September]. In this workshop, Hojjatol-Islam val Muslemin Homayoun, one of the lecturers and critics of sects and religions, analysed various religions, especially the perverse Baha’i sect, and provided the participants with necessary training to respond to people’s questions and doubts.
Examining the weaknesses and problems of different religions, such as Babism, Bahaism, etc., as well as the signs of the Mahdism and the Emergence, were important topics of this workshop.
Hojjatol-Islam Mehdi Fendereski, the deputy of propaganda from the seminary of the province, noted, “The training course on sects and religions, the first course of which was held on 13 and 14 Shahrivar [4 and 5 September], will be held periodically for six days, with the analyses of Baha’ism in the centre of the province….
