Yesterday, a group of the residents of Soghad who were on their way to Abadeh to attend to their personal affairs, heard a disturbance, while passing the village of Koushkak and they stopped to watch the event.  At that moment, the gendarmes, headed by Major Moubed, who has some ulterior motive in this matter, fired their guns toward the people and as a result one child and one innocent person were badly injured and they are in critical condition. We plead to you to have this matter investigated urgently. Having taken tahasson[1] in the Telegraph office we will remain here until we receive your response. This matter has already been brought to the attention of [reported to] His Imperial Majesty and His Holiness Ayatollah Borujerdi.
