Behrouz Sanaie was born into a Baha’i family. At the age of 4 his family in order to propagate the Baha’i Faith pioneered to Pahlavi Dej (Agh Ghala), Turkmen-Sahra in the north of Iran. He completed his elementary education there and then moved to Tehran for high school. He later obtained a degree in engineering. He pioneered to several regions working as a merchant. He married in 1976 and a year later settled in Tehran.
Behrouz Sanaie was arrested on 5 July 1980 and imprisoned at Evin prison. He was executed by firing squad on 17 December 1980. His body was laid to rest by his family and in accordance with Baha’i law.
