Holding a Training Course for Critique of Baha’ism in Shiraz
With the help of the Functional Training Centre Advertising Bureau of the [Qom] seminary, a training course for critique of Baha’ism is being held in Shiraz.
According to the Balagh correspondent, with the help of the Functional Training Centre of the [Qom] seminary, a training course for critique of Baha’ism is being held in Shiraz.
Hojatoleslam Jannati, the head of the Provincial Education Department of the Functional Training Centre, said, “After the written and oral exams on 15 Mordad [6 August], the training course for ‘Baha’i Critics Teacher Training’ has begun at the Functional Training Centre in cooperation with the Islamic Propaganda Organization of Fars Province. Also, the classes of this course are held on Thursdays and Fridays every week in Shiraz with the participation of 30 seminary student brothers.”
Referring to the use of expert lecturers in this course, he added, “Scholars are introduced to topics such as Recognition of Baha’ism and Review of the Role of the Shaykhism and Babism in its Emergence; Leaders of the Baha’i Sect and Their Relationship to Colonialism; the Study for Critique of Baha’i Beliefs and Teachings; Familiarization With the Baha’i Organizational Structure and Propaganda Method; Familiarization With Mahdism, and Response to Doubts About Baha’ism.”
In the end, Jannati pointed out, “The purpose of holding this course is to acquaint the seminary students with deviant sects, increase the technical and research level of seminary students to fight against deviant sects, and respond to the educational needs of vulnerable areas.”
It should be noted that this course lasts until the end of the academic year 1394-1395 [2015-2016] and every week one of the lecturers of this centre will be sent to teach in Shiraz.
