His Excellency, Mr. Prime Minister,

Copy:  Ministry of the Interior

Copy:  Police Force Headquarters

A group of local residents of Bojnourd, following the provocations of Friday 9 Tir [13]23 [30 June 1944], have attacked some Baha’is with the intention of killing them, causing them bodily injuries and financial loss. Although the matter has been reported to the police departments and the local Governorate, no effective action has been taken and the offenders and their agitators have not been prosecuted; the telegraph office is not even accepting their complaint telegrams. As neither the lives nor the possessions of the Baha’is has been secured, we earnestly request you to issue urgent orders for the prevention of the activities of these villains.

On behalf of the Baha’is of Bojnourd: Rahmanian, Hedayati
