The green Islamic banner was hoisted on top of the Haziratu’l-Quds

Ahvaz - Yesterday at 10:00 in the morning, the entire population of Ahvaz gathered together at the office of the governorate, pleading with the governor and the chief of the army to close down the Baha’i Haziratu’l-Quds and their espionage assembly.

As the people were resolute and insistent in their plea and it was possible that in the case of non-compliance with their request, they might have taken severe actions and created upheaval in Ahvaz, the governor instructed the disciplinary forces to seal the Baha’i Assembly [building], and all the inhabitants, calmly and in an orderly manner, under the supervision of disciplinary forces, entered the Haziratu’l-Quds and occupied the place They immediately took out a green banner with verses of “With the help of God victory is near” and “Long live the illustrious Islam” written on it; it was hoisted on top of the building, and the call to prayer reached the ears of the population for the first time from the building of the Haziratu’l-Quds.

Following these ceremonies, the inhabitants left the Haziratu’l-Quds in an orderly and systematic fashion, and the place was placed under the protection of the disciplinary forces.

The people of Ahvaz were quite appreciative and satisfied with this action, which shows the authorities’ respect for the true religion of Islam and proves the acceptance of the inhabitants’ persistent pleas. They are now busy preparing different scrolls for the relevant authorities and the leaders.
