Six Members of [Anti-Government] Groups, and Leaders of Baha’i Assemblies in Karaj Executed
Tehran – Islamic Republic News Service – In accordance with the ruling of the Islamic Revolutionary Court of Karaj, six members of [anti-government] combatant groups, as well as leaders of the Baha’i Assemblies, were executed in Karaj.
The Office of Public Relations of Islamic Revolutionary Prosecutor-General announced:

Also, three leaders of the Baha’i Assemblies and promoters of the perverse Baha'i sect in Karaj, accused of connections with Zionist centres, travelling to Occupied Palestine and helping Baha’i Assemblies were charged with “spreading corruption on earth” and were sentenced to death. The names of those executed are: 1- Badiollah Haghpaykar, son of Mohammad-Mehdi, native and resident of Karaj; 2- Mahmoud Forouhar, son of Shokrollah, native of Abadeh, resident of Karaj; 3- Eshraghiyyeh Forouhar, [daughter] of Shaban-Ali, native of Tehran, resident of Karaj.
The decision of the Islamic Revolutionary Court of Karaj against the above-named, was carried out on 6th and 17th of Ordibehesht [26 April and 7 May 1982]
