Mr. Prime Minister,

Copy: Ministry of the Interior

Copy: Ministry of Justice

In Najafabad, one day after the Ashura, a Baha’i was beaten. A complaint was presented to the relevant authorities. Two days later, again two individuals were beaten; again, a complaint was presented. Because the relevant authorities did not investigate the case, as a result, yesterday a mob gathered at the market place and a number of Baha’is were beaten, leading to the murder of my son, which happened at the farm one hour before sunset. After complaining and consequent investigations, the court ordered his burial. Yours truly will refrain from burying the body until a thorough investigation is conducted. I am pleading with you to have this matter urgently investigated.
