The Celebration of the Blessed Birth of the Prophet of Islam (Peace be Upon Him)

Last Thursday, which coincided with the birthday of His Holiness the last Prophet (PbuH), the people of the capital held glorious celebrations. On this occasion, the military governor of Tehran also held a magnificent celebratory ceremony at the military governorate (previous Haziratu’l-Quds) headquarters.

One day before the ceremony, the military governor invited the residents and clerics of the capital to attend this religious celebration. Therefore, on Thursday afternoon a large number of people and many clerics, such as Ayatollah Behbahani, dignitaries and businessmen took part in this celebration, leaving no room for the remaining invitees in the halls of the military governorate.

During the celebration, General Bakhtiar, the military commander, and a number of other officials welcomed the guests. The celebration continued until 7:00 in the evening.

In the photo above, General Bakhtiar and a number of clerics are seen.
