Detention of Sufis in Turkey

It is said that following the arrest of a group of Baha’is residing in Turkey, the Turkish police also arrested a group of Sufis who had organized a meeting at night.

Turkey has a law prohibiting any group or assembly from holding meetings at night without informing the police authorities. It is said that the arrest of the Baha’is and the Sufis also resulted from the police force’s lack of information about their nightly gatherings.
