Prison Officials Who Placed Faezeh Next to a Baha’i Prisoner Must Be Held Accountable!
In a fallacious statement, the secretary general of the Executives of Construction Party justified the meeting of a member of the party’s headquarters with one of the leaders of the Zionist-British Baha’i network and claimed that prison officials who placed Faezeh Hashemi next to a Baha’i prisoner should be held accountable for her meeting [that Baha’ prisoner] at her home!
According to Afkar News, in an interview with Arya [News Agency] regarding Faezeh Hashemi’s meeting, Gholam Hossein Karbaschi said, “We have not taken any partisan position in this regard. This issue has two aspects. It has political and propaganda aspects, and it has certainly not been a good thing to politicize and [publicize] this visit. With the backgrounds and histories that we know of Baha’ism, it is unreasonable for such meetings to become the cause of propaganda and of media affairs. Some fundamentalist media outlets that have problems with Mr. Hashemi are trumpeting this issue. Is it to prove that the daughter of the chairman of the Expediency Council, with all his records, is a supporter of Baha’ism? So, is this a matter of Baha’i propaganda or destroying Mrs. Hashemi?”
He added, “In the meeting we had with Mrs. Faezeh Hashemi herself, we told her that the media coverage of this meeting was not right, but that the officials of the regime should be held accountable for sending a person with a file, rightly or wrongly, to a prison, in a room housed with a group of communists and members of the Tudeh and Fadaian party. Well, one of these people is also a Baha’i. After living together for six months in this room, they have progressed to a hello greeting; now that they are released from prison, do they not have the right to communicate with each other? The officials created the ground for such a relationship in the prison!”
Karbaschi claimed that such issues have emotional aspects and should not be confused with political issues.
The fallacy of Karbaschi, however, is that it is not the first time that some members of this mischief-making and corrupt party or counter-revolutionary groups from the Liberal movement are grafted to some former Marxists and the late Mehdi Hashemi gang, etc., who have common friendly roots and congeniality. Party spokesman Marashi’s claim regarding the freedom of the party and the protest and resignation of Mohammad Hashemi from the centrality of the [Executives of Construction Party], [contains] the warning that the party has strayed from the imam’s line and proves that the party’s downfall has intensified.
With all these reasons, is it clear why Mr. Karbaschi is not willing to declare his disgust, even in words against the Baha’is, as was the case of Mr. Hashemi Rafsanjani?! And what is the emotional connection between the Zionist-British Baha’i network and the Executives of Construction Party that the Muslim people of Iran are unaware of?
