From an interview with Ayatollah Kashani
As if the ayatollah had suddenly remembered something, he continued in an offended tone, “Some time ago, you wrote that Kashani had been quiet in the campaign against Baha’is, and I did not say anything at the time (do you understand, you ignoramus?).” Have you forgotten that I was the one who took the first step in the campaign against the Baha’is? I was the first, with a group of Mujahedin, who wanted to close the Haziratu’l-Quds. How is it that you now write that Kashani has been quiet about the Baha’is? After all, what can I do in the middle of all these scuffles? May God deal with Mosaddegh who uprooted the established foundations through his selfishness and stubbornness and put the liberals of the nation in this predicament. The curse of God be upon those who came to life during the heat of the movement, and now, after gaining some presence, stab the movement in the back for their own unlawful gains.
