12 Individuals Purged from the Police Department in Isfahan

Isfahan – Ettelaat reporter – Supervisor of the Committee for the Cleansing and Purification of the Law Enforcement Agency of the Islamic Republic in Isfahan announced:

So far 12 individuals from the police personnel in Isfahan have been dismissed for various reasons, including political offences, and moral corruption.

In addition, 5 individuals were purged for their ideology and adherence to Bahaism. They are: Major Feizollah Hemmati, Lieutenant Badiollah Rowshan, Lieutenant Manouchehr Saiedi, Lieutenant Nasrollah Tayyebi, and Constable Masoud Efteraghi.

He [the Supervisor] went on to say: “This purging was carried out at the staff level only, and files of the above-named will be forwarded to the Islamic Revolutionary Court for the judicial authorities to issue judgments as they see fit. Other files are currently under review, the results of which shall be announced in due course.
