Zabihollah Momeni

Executed in Tehran by firing squad on 15 August 1980

 

Zabihollah Momeni was in the final year of his computer engineering studies when on 12 July 1980 he was arrested.  The location of his imprisonment was not disclosed.  He was executed by firing squad at dawn, on Friday 15 August 1980.  He had been married for seven months at the time of his execution.  His body was laid to rest in the Bahá’í cemetery of Tehran, in accordance with Baha’i law.
