Expulsion of a Member of the Iranian National Martial Arts Team Due to Change in Religion! + Expulsion order
According to a report received from human rights activists in the “The Voice of Iranian Christians” Hamzeh Raziyani, a former member of the Iranian National Jujitsu Team and the former head of the Jujitsu Association of Kermanshah, was expelled from the National Jujitsu Team due to his conversion to the Baha’i Faith, and the verdict of his dismissal from the post of head of the Jujitsu Association of Iran was communicated to him.
Also, on Monday, 20 Mordad [11 August] of this year, he was summoned by telephone to the Intelligence Office of Kermanshah, located on Naft Street. Due to the stress caused by this phone call, his mother suffered a heart attack; she was referred to the hospital and underwent a coronary angiography.
According to the news received, this young and promising athlete of our national team has left the country due to pressures by the Intelligence Office because of his conversion to the Baha’i Faith.
