“Either Islam or move”: Video documentary on Baha'is of Ivel, who have been displaced from their homes, and whose  properties have been confiscated by the authorities. 

The village of Ivel in Mazandaran has been home of Baha'is for over 100 years. Baha’is of Ivel have been mostly farmers, and the founder of the first elementary school and other institutions in the village. After the revolution, tens of hectares of their land were confiscated and their houses were set on fire and destroyed.

In October 2020, despite many efforts by the Baha’is, an appeals court upheld the ruling by a special court, allowing lands owned by Baha'is to be seized and sold.
