It is said that because of the appeals of Baha’i residents in foreign countries to their government authorities, a thousand telegrams of recommendation have been transmitted to the government of Iran regarding the Baha’is in Iran. On the other hand, petitions against the Baha’is are regularly being received from the cities, especially from [the city of] Yazd.
