TWELVE INDIVIDUALS PURGED FROM ISFAHAN’S LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES

Isfahan - Intelligence Services News - The Head of the Committee for the Cleansing and Purification of Law Enforcement Agencies for the Islamic Republic in Isfahan has announced:  Thus far, 12 individuals have been dismissed from the personnel of Isfahan’s law enforcement agencies for various reasons, including political offences and moral corruption.  Their names are as follows;

Colonel Gholam Hussain Amirpour, former head of the Department of Motor Vehicles and Transportation of Isfahan; Colonel Naser Gholambashi, former commander of Police Station 2 of Isfahan; Major Ardeshir Padidar, officer of the Motor Vehicles and Transportation Department; Captain Gholamreza Sadeghi, Mrs. Shahnaz Dehghani, Mrs. Touba Montazeri and Colonel Dr. Ataollah Harati.

Also, five individuals were dismissed in the purification process because of their adherence to Bahaism. They are:  Major Faizollah Hasti, Lieutenant Badiollah Roshan, Lieutenant Manoucher Saiedi, Lieutenant Nasrollah Tayebi, and Constable Masoud Efteraghi.

He added: This cleansing operation was carried out only from among core staff, and the files of the individuals concerned will be forwarded to the appropriate judicial authorities at the Revolutionary Courts for their ruling. Other files are currently under review, and the related decisions shall be announced in due course.
