Copy of the telegraphic report from Isfahan
It is a few months since about one hundred Baha’is entered Shahreza and have been living here.
Lately there has been a fight between them and the local residents. A few days ago, the business owners [shops] were ordered not to sell them anything. The governor of the place took action and prevented it. Every day, there are clashes between them and the locals. I reported the situation in full to the governor general. On his behalf, telegrams were sent. If there is any news I will bring it to your attention.
