Religious Jurisprudence Leaders Reassured

Last week a well-informed and reliable source stated to our reporter that the government’s action in its campaign against Baha’ism has resulted in gratitude and appreciation of leaders of religious jurisprudence.  The added reassurance given by the relevant [government] officials to the religious jurisprudence authorities within the past few days has increased their confidence.

The same source added that since Seyyed Ahmad Safaie, clerics’ representative of Qazvin, had asked the government a question in this regard and the Interior Minister, Alam, has prepared an answer to this concern and will soon respond to this question in Parliament.  It is said that in his response to Safaie’s question the Interior Minister will announce again the government’s intentions and decisions regarding the campaign against perverse and illegal groups and will reassure the representatives that the government will deliver on its responsibilities with utmost care and in accordance with the law.
