The Request of a Foreign Government

An informed official said this week that a foreign government had asked the Iranian government to recognize one of the unofficial religious sects. For this reason, the government official inquired of the religious authorities in this regard. According to the clerics, propounding this matter not only is not advisable in the current situation, but the appeal will never be approved by the people, no matter who is requesting it.
