Celebrations at the Military Governorate

On the evening of Thursday, 11 Aban [1334] [3 November 1955] on the occasion of the birth of the His Holiness the Messenger of God, a celebration was held in the Tehran Military Governorate and a large number of people from various groups took part in the ceremony. The religious ceremonies were performed, and on behalf of Brigadier General Bakhtiar, the military governor of Tehran and the military commanders, the invitees were received and served.

Interestingly, the Military Governorate is located in the Haziratu’l-Quds, and this is the first time that the Islamic religious ceremonies have been held there. Some fifty-to sixty-thousand people attended the celebration.
