7 Spies Executed in Yazd
Yazd - The Islamic Revolutionary Court of Yazd condemned to death and executed 7 individuals [accused of] spying against the government of Islamic Republic of Iran. The decision was made after consideration of the submissions from the National Archives [and Library] of Iran regarding the gathering of this group in an espionage unit. In accordance with the [court] order, [the sentence] was carried out yesterday at dawn.
The names of those who were executed are as follows: Ezzatollah Zabihian [Azizollah Zabihian], son of Asadollah - Fereidoun Faridani, son of Goshtasb - Nourollah Akhtar-Khavari, son of Kaykhosrow - Abdol-Vahhab Kazemi[-Manshadi], son of Hosein - Jalal Mostaghim, son of Abdol-Vahhab - Mahmoud Hasanzadeh, son of Mohammad, and Ali Motahhari, son of Hosein.
