Cleansing of the Army
During the past week, the Ministry of War retired a number of army officers and it is rumoured that there were some Baha’is among them who were quietly retired by the Army with no announcement.
The Honourable Major General Batmanghelich, Head of the Joint Staff of the Armed Forces, who is famous among Muslims and Iranians as the “destroyer of idols” is one of the deserving and praiseworthy officers of Iran’s Army.
