For Attention of Tehran Public Prosecutor: Baha’is Have Been Guilty in the Sakhvid Incident
A few months ago, when the government started the battle against the Azali and Baha’i elements, and Mr. Falsafi also invited the public, in his speeches, to cooperate with the government in the execution of this national and religious obligation, some activities were initiated by Muslims in the cities of Iran, which were faced with resistance from the Baha’is. Among them was a severe fight where a harsh skirmish occurred between the two sides resulting in the murder of fifteen individuals.
This case was investigated by the Yazd Judiciary. Nearly forty individuals were charged with participating in this incident and were convicted. The cases of the convicts have now been referred to the Tehran Judiciary Office for an appeal, and the convicts have also been transferred to Tehran.
A number of our esteemed readers residing in Yazd, who are aware of the facts of this matter, have mentioned in their letters to the office of this newspaper, that the culprits in these incidents are the spies of the Baha’i sect who attacked the Muslims and caused that unfortunate incident. It is quite appropriate that the Judiciary officials pay utmost attention to this matter, so that those who are truly guilty are punished and the innocent ones are released.
This newspaper, which has been and is a pioneer in combatting the xenophilic Babi and Azali elements, [in order] to protect the rights of Muslims, has thus informed the esteemed court of Tehran of this matter and anticipates that during the investigations of this case, the truth of the matter of this case is not overlooked, and that, in punishing the main culprits, meaning the Baha’is, a deserved sentence is issued.
