Patriotism and Baha’ism

Iran as Seen by the Baha’is of the World

Another reason given by the Baha’i author concerning the respect that Baha’is around the world have for Iran, is one of the commands of Baha’u’llah, in response to the question, “In what language should communications take place?” He has said,

“Both Arabic and Persian are laudable. That which is desired of a language is that it convey the intent of the speaker, and either language can serve this purpose. And since in this day the Orb of Knowledge hath risen in the firmament of Persia, this tongue deserveth every praise.”[1]

The same author quotes Abdu’l-Baha as saying: [Persian Prayer][2]

The Baha’is have portrayed Iran to the world in such a way that today people from seven continents admire Iran.

Now, in all parts of the world, even in the United States, people are praying and praising the center of the Iranian monarchy.
