Report number 386, from the police force of Shiraz, is submitted herewith:

According to the report of the police force of Abadeh, the opponents of Sheikh Ali Akbar, the prayer leader of the town, who has a [troubled] background in Abadeh, requested the clerics of Qom to send a religious leader to Abadeh. Recently, an individual named Sheikh Ansari has arrived in Abadeh, and has managed to gather a band of followers and cause a great rift and division amongst the residents, particularly on the part of Sheikh Ali Akbar, who instigates agitation and turmoil.

The office of the provincial governor general and the commander of the military brigades were informed of the situation, and the police were instructed to resolve the disputes and prevent any untoward events, by the instructions of the governor and the garrison. The result will be conveyed later.

For this purpose, they sent Sheikh Ansari, whose arrival in Abadeh has caused a great deal of division and unrest, which is caused by provocations of Sheikh Ali Akbar.
