Following the approval of the supplementary article to the Constitution and its spread to Najaf, the religious authorities there, namely cleric Mulla Mohammad Kazem Khorasani, Sheikh Hossein Mazandaran and Haj Mirza Hossein Khalili Tehrani, admired the sheikh in a letter, in which they wrote: “In addition to this Article that you are suggesting, we suggest [that you] also pass an article in the parliament regarding the freedom of the press and the perverse Baha’ist sect.”  Up to this juncture in history, the martyr Sheikh had enjoyed the complete support of Najaf religious leaders. …
