In the days when Ettelaat newspaper was under the authority of the regime and would publish articles such as these [articles] with the permission of Savak[1]’s, it is clear how widespread was the power of the Revolution.

In those days, in addition to whatever Ettelaat had published, people set ablaze the building of the disgraced Rastakhiz Party as well as some other government edifices and some Baha’i Centres and they also set fire to or otherwise destroyed many government-owned automobiles.
