Office of the Islamic Revolutionary Prosecutor – Markaz

I, Abdol-Shoghi Tebyani, respectfully submit that I was sentenced to six months’ imprisonment at Evin Prison in 1360 [1981].   While awaiting the verdict of the Supreme Council, [the authorities] asked my wife, in the month of Azar 1361 [November/December 1982], for collateral for at least two years.

The verdict [ordered the confiscation of] all fixed and intangible assets, even my van, which I used to make a living, [for disposal by] the Office of the Islamic Revolutionary Prosecutor.  I have no other assets except my residential home at [redacted].

I therefore request the respected authorities to order the release of the surety, which belongs to my guarantor, Mr. Enayatollah Shahriari, to whom I made a promise and to whom I do not wish to be indebted.

With regards,

Abdol-Shoghi Tebyani
