Thai – Iran relations bound to boost

Islamic Republic’s top diplomat in Thailand recently said that reciprocal ties of Tehran and Bangkok are bound to boost as the two countries “have a lot to exchange.” …

“The main factor is that we attach great importance to relations with Iran, it is our policy and we follow it and none can stop us,’’ Mr. Devakula underlined. …

Turning to the anti-revolutionaries in Bangkok he said that “a top Bahai [Baha’i] recently approached us with a request for political asylum’’ but his application was turned down just “because we do not want to draw anger from Tehran.’’
