In response to [your] letter dated 7/10/58 [28 December 1979], [we] advise that one of the conditions of employment is that the applicant complete an application with their full details, such as nationality and religion. You have indicated in your application that you are the follower of religion called Baha’i and given that in Articles 12 and 13 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic the officially recognized religions of the country have been identified and specified and the Baha’i religion in not amongst those religions, this head office is accordingly unable to employ you.
