Raja News Exclusive Report on the Activities of the Hojjatieh Society / 1
Magnifying and presenting the Baha’is as the main enemy is the main action of the Society. In this regard, Sheikh Halabi would emphasize that, “Today, the Lord of the Age (PBUH) does not accept any service from anyone other than this and expects nothing more than this. [I] swear to God! Today, the religious duty of all of us is to fight Baha’ism.”
What is the Hojjatieh Society?
The Charity Society of Mahdaviyyeh Hojjatieh was established in 1335 [1956/1957] by Sheikh Mahmoud Zakerzadeh Tavalaei, known as Sheikh Halabi, with the aim of fighting the Baha’is through faith.
Thoughts and Beliefs of the Hojjatieh Society, Before the Revolution
Magnifying and presenting the Baha’is as the main enemy is the main feature of the society. In this regard, Sheikh Halabi emphasized that, “Today, the Imam of the Age (PBUH) does not accept any service from anyone other than this and does not expect anything other than this. [I] swear to God! Today, it is the religious duty of all of us to fight Baha’ism.”
But perhaps the point that has received less attention is the contradiction between the belief and the practice of this society. This means that while the prime minister, many members of the cabinet, and people close to the [royal] court, are Baha’is, one cannot find any criticism of the court with regard to the Society.
