Dear brother, Mr. Ansari,

Esteemed Deputy Minister of the Interior and Head of National Organization for Civil Registration

 

Enclosed is a copy of letter number M/78-8988, dated 9 Dey 1378 [30 December 1999], from the office of the esteemed president, with its enclosed letter number M/78-1232 dated 4 Dey 1378 [25 December 1999] from the respected Committee for Investigation and Overseeing the Enforcement of the Constitution and its attachments. [You are directed to] amend the memorandum about stating the religion in order to record a marriage. [For this process] you may rely on Articles 13 and 14 of the Constitution [and] the memorandum number M/11-4462, dated 13 Bahman 1367 [2 February 1989], that was passed by the government, as well as a bill ratified by the Supreme Council for Cultural Revolution in its meeting 238, which has also been approved by the esteemed leader.  Please action this matter and report the outcome of your actions.
