How Were the Adverse Events Prevented in Tehran

…Since the day when the sermons of renowned preacher Mr. Falsafi against the destructive Baha’i sect began, as a result of the overflowing of people’s sentiments, several times it was expected that adverse events might occur, and there were even rumours that during the holidays and mourning days of the month of Ramadan, actions and demonstrations against the Baha’is in Tehran would ensue, and there might be a danger of undesirable occurrences. But, as soon as Brigadier General Bakhtiar learnt of this information, he took immediate actions to keep strict order, and he has issued instructions for extra care during these days. As a result of his sagacity, no unfavourable incident has occurred. The inhabitants of Tehran are ever grateful in all instances for his constant care to safeguard the public welfare.
