Replacement of Batmanghelich from the Baha’is’ Perspective

Although the replacement of Major General Batmanghelich as the head of the army staff is due to an important mission that he should accomplish in Karachi, and is related to the issue of Iran’s joining the Middle East Treaty; the Baha’is have spread rumours that the change of [his] position was due to a pickaxe blow he had made to the Haziratu’l-Quds and the destruction of their temple. We expect the government to issue a public statement to prevent the Muslims from losing hope in their campaign against Baha’ism, not considering some authorities as their [Baha’is] defendants, to clarify the issue in the public mind and to vilify this perverse sect. Otherwise, the government’s silence will be interpreted as the affirmation of their [Baha’is] claim.
