The Occupation of the Haziratu’l-Quds of Baha’is

The Neday-e Hagh newspaper, [as demonstrated] by its five-year literary fight, has not refrained in any way from fighting against the perverted Baha’i sect. At any time, and at any opportunity, it has informed and alerted people of the conspiracy of this dangerous group and their trickery in deceiving some ignorant Muslims.

Neday-e Hagh Newspaper, in its issue number 13 of the fifth year, dated 1 Dey 1333 [22 December 1954] and issue 14, dated 8 Dey 1333 [29 December 1954] and issue 23, dated 11 Esfand 1333 [2 March 1955] particularly informed the Muslim brothers about the operations and undercover actions, and the plots and tricks of this sect, and we have asked the government to stop their treacherous operations and Islamophobic acts. In one of our issues, we especially mentioned the destruction of the Haziratu’l-Quds, and we have called for this huge building, which is founded on dishonesty, deceit and deception of the people, to be leveled to the ground.

In any case, we have not neglected the literary struggle that we considered as our religious and spiritual duty. We are very happy that, after waiting for a while, we reached our goal. We did not die, and saw that the door of the Haziratu’l-Quds [Baha’i Centre] was closed to a group of disbelievers and foreign spies. The army of the government of Iran, who are all Muslims and followers of the Quran, occupied the mentioned place and prevented the entry of a number of corrupt, promiscuous people who were engaged in flirting and ugly things with bad girls and women, and through this and in some other ways, were also deceiving and misleading others.

Mr. Falsafi, the famous orator and preacher, spoke courageously from the pulpit of Soltani Mosque against the conspiracy and sabotage of this sect and revealed its evil plans and fantasies, which were to destroy the religion of the Holy Prophet, to dismantle the Holy Quran and to overthrow the basis of constitutionalism and cause the destruction of the monarchy, and to erase the traces of our ethnicity and nationality. He called on the rulers of the state, especially the first person of the country, to repel their evil as soon as possible and to eliminate the Baha’i cause through legal means and fundamental channels, and strongly advised the people not to give up at all and to absolutely avoid practical aspects and physical struggles and fights, until such time that government can put an end to the operations and actions of this dangerous sect, which is the enemy of humanity, through the laws of the country. Fortunately, the people showed the utmost composure and serenity in this matter and according to His Majesty and the military governorate of Tehran, a company of soldiers, led by a Muslim officer, ordered the occupation of the Haziratu’l-Quds and handed it over to the devotees of the great Prophet of Islam and the path of truth. This caused the joy and exhilaration of twenty million Muslims in Iran, who, when these days come together, congratulate each other and take this occasion as success, and eagerly wait for the government to repel the evils of this wicked sect.

Obviously, these human demons will not give up. They will fight, with different masks and behind the scenes, and with the support of their foreign officials and masters. But the people of Iran, and the person of the emperor and the cabinet, are vigilant and careful not to allow them to escape in any way or portray themselves as the oppressed and wronged ones. The government will certainly take action to dismiss all Baha’is from government services and ministries. In this way, a lot of losses and damages have been inflicted on the Iranian nation, and perhaps the poor and incompetent people have been forced to submit to them and have been forced to obey and surrender. Also, the senior and high-ranking or non-high-ranking officers, soldiers and employees who are from the Baha’i sect are to be dismissed from the service.

According to the proposal of Mr. Falsafi, a single article [of law] should be passed by the National Consultative Assembly and the Senate [to declare] this sect illegal and [ensure that it] not have the right to convene meetings, gatherings, temples and assemblies.

The people of Iran must also be fully aware of the situation and the current of the day, and not allow anyone to have any excuse not to be calm and firm. At the same time, it should be serious and vigilant, and be careful not to be deceived by the false, nonsensical words of some people who are from this type and category, and not be fooled by arguments such as, “Now is not the right time to do this”, “Why did they not take this action last year?”, or , “So it is a maneuver”. And wherever there is talk of this issue, they should say frankly and very seriously, “The scandal and humiliation of these people’s operations can no longer be tolerated.” In the centre of the capital of the Shiite country, the corruption of the founders of the Haziratu’l-Quds and their behaviour and operations, which are all contrary to the norms and customs of humanity, cannot be ignored and hidden. This centre of malice, hatred and espionage must be dismantled as soon as possible. Let the Muslim nations of other Islamic countries understand that this country is the centre of Shiism and that it follows the Quran and the teachings of the Holy Prophet of Islam and His Holiness Jafar ibn Muhammad [PBUH], and is not a place for the sheep of God and the beasts [Baha’is]…

The occupation of the Haziratu’l-Quds of the Baha’is has had a profound effect on the religious communities and on great scholars. It has particularly caused tremendous joy in His Holiness Ayatollah Borujerdi. In this regard, a congratulatory telegram was sent by Mr. Behbahani to Ayatollah Borujerdi and His Highness the King. Ayatollah Borujerdi has issued a letter to Mr. Rafsanjani and has expressed his satisfaction with his actions in this regard.

Meanwhile, the government has considered it necessary to follow up this strategy and discover the Baha’i networks. The government has considered this dishonourable group to be more dangerous than the Communists, and would therefore purge the government offices and departments of these people and remove them from [their positions].

On behalf of all the people of Tehran, the people of the neighbourhoods and various groups have prepared petitions with strange widths and lengths [sizes] with the signatures of 10,000 and 20,000 [people], and have presented them to the imperial court and a special office [of His Majesty] and have expressed the Muslim’s hatred of and disgust with the perverted Baha’is, and have requested their suppression and degradation.
