Opposition to the Baha’is Should Become Stronger

During the last week, the office of the newspaper received many letters from the Muslim Brothers, demanding stronger and faster measures for opposing the perverse sect of Baha’is.  For instance, in their letters, Mr. H. from Varamin and Seyyed Hadi Tabrizi from Azerbaijan wrote that the perverse sect of Baha’is is the enemy of Islam and Iran.  They are a group of foreign spies; as our poor country is currently in need of general cooperation amongst all its factions, the disunity and conflicts should be avoided and foreign-worshipping elements prevented from interfering with the country’s affairs.  As a result, they have requested the government, the [National Consultative] Assembly and the Muslim Brothers to prevent the progress of this sect and their activities and inform the police forces of the whereabouts of their gatherings and assemblies and introduce their followers.  We humbly supplicate the Almighty and All-Wise God that our dear readers and the Muslim Brothers may succeed in achieving fruitful results in this religious and national combat.
