With reference to the letter dated 2/3/1360 [23 May 1981] concerning the non-payment of your pension, this is to inform you that because the perverse Baha’i sect is not among the officially recognized religions of this country, and it was likewise unlawful under the previous regime to employ Baha’is, according to the blessed religious fatwa, Baha’i employees cannot benefit from the National Treasury of Muslims. Therefore, payment of your pension is not permissible.
