Ministry of the Interior,

With reference to communication number 232/1089, dated 19 Ordibehesht [1323] [9 May 1944], regarding the misconduct of some inhabitants in certain areas towards the followers of the Baha’i sect, a description of the disturbances against the Baha’is created by the Friday prayer leader of the town of Shahreza and some other local inhabitants, is enclosed.

Necessarily, I remind you [to] re-issue emphatic instructions to the relevant officers to establish order, maintain calm and prevent any [harmful] activity that may lead to an unfortunate incident, and to take action through the Commission as instructed, and report the results [to us].
