Yesterday at the public session of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, the draft amendment to the Bill governing management of Non-government Educational Institutions was approved.
…the people’s representative from Mianeh [stated]: I warn the Hojjatieh Society Party throughout Iran, and especially the eastern part of my electoral region, Mianeh, to behave and not to create problems for [government] personnel, service workers, or the public. You should not interfere in the affairs of the city; do not spread rumours, and do not interfere with work of [government] organisations. The speaker added:
Your secret activities are now known to the public. How have you not yet been able to provide evidence to any organizations or departments against the Baha’is whom you oppose? You all talk about the Supreme Leader and are of the opinion that one should fight in the presence of people [?], but not accept any government as “Fair Government”. I request you to pay attention to this warning from me. Why do you badger the people and claim to be the followers of the revolution....
