Parliament Approved the Framework of the Bill for the Establishment of the Ministry of Intelligence

Yesterday, the Islamic Consultative Assembly, after the recitation of some verses of the Quran, convened a general meeting at 8:15 a.m., chaired by Hojjatol- Islam val-Muslemin [trustee of Islam and Muslims] Ali-Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani.
Following the pre-agenda speeches of the members from Sarband, Arak, Maku and Naqadeh, and discussions, the general framework of the Bill for the Formation of the Ministry of Intelligence was approved. Also, the general provisions of the Supreme Council for Health, Treatment and Higher Education were reviewed. …at the conclusion, the honourable representative of the people of Naqadeh made the following remarks to the executive officers:
1. From time to time, the delegates and responsible brothers receive greeting cards from the ministries or government officials. We would like to thank them if their cost is born by personal accounts; otherwise, in my humble opinion, it is squandering the treasury of the Muslims.
2. We would like to ask the revolutionary tribunal of Tabriz to reconsider, in the case of Mr. Maboodi, the filthy element of SAVAK, the supporter of Baha’ism in Naqadeh, the vigilante of the hellish shah, seemingly revolutionary, the plunderer of the Beit al-mal [Treasury], a professional thief, pretending to be a nanny who is more compassionate than a mother, so that, God forbid, it does not become the cause of despair and disappointment to some Muslims in our region…
