Ritual and Traditional Theatre Festival With a Baha’i Author?
The works of a fugitive writer [in] the United States, who is rumoured to be a Baha’i, were widely displayed at the Festival of Rituals and Traditional Theatre!
According to Mashregh, the 19th Festival of Rituals and Traditional Theatre ended its performances with several productions by Bahram Beyzaie at the festival. However, this secular writer, accused of being a member of the perverse Baha’i sect, has been in the United States for many years and has been teaching at one of the American universities through a Baha’i mediator.
With these descriptions, it is questionable why this festival has accepted the works of an individual who basically does not believe in Islamic and Shiite rituals and traditions and has repeatedly expressed his hatred for the Islamic revolution. It is worth mentioning that the picture of Beyzaie’s first wedding ceremony in one of the official Baha’i centres is attached to one of the SAVAK documents.
