Maryam Ghaffarmanesh, A Baha’i Citizen, Was Released from Evin Prison on Bail

According to the HRANA news agency, today, Sunday, 26 Esfand 1397 [17 March 2019], Maryam Ghaffarmanesh, a Baha’i citizen, was temporarily released after being detained for six months in the women’s ward of Evin Prison.

Maryam Ghaffarmanesh was arrested by security forces on 25 Shahrivar of this year [16 September 2018], along with two other Baha’i citizens, Kianoush Salmanzadeh and Jamileh Pakrou, and transferred to Detention Center 209 of the Evin Intelligence Office.

The 39-year-old Baha’i citizen was transferred to the women’s ward of Ward 209 of Evin Prison on 23 Aban [November 2018] after two months of interrogation in solitary confinement.
