Department of Enforcement and Collection of Traffic Violation Tickets in Tehran

Respectfully, in reference to the warning issued on 17 Esfand 1361 [8 March 1983] to Colonel Engineer Hosein Vahdat-Hagh, owner of the vehicle licence number 34294 A, the following is for your information.  He was arrested by the prosecutor of the anti-corruption court on 8 Mehr 1360 [30 September 1981] for being a Baha’i.  He was later executed on 9 Esfand 1360 [28 February 1982] by the Revolutionary Guards of the anti-corruption court at the Qasr Prison in Tehran.

A month after his arrest (approximately in Aban 1360 [October/November 1981], his movable properties, including the above-mentioned vehicle, were confiscated from his residence through an order from the prosecutor.  Should there be traffic violations against the vehicle, or its driver, with the Department of Enforcement, kindly visit the Islamic Revolutionary Public Prosecutor of Iran (at Qasr Crossings) and obtain a copy of the government request.  Additionally, as stated above, since the movable property of the deceased, including his vehicle, were confiscated, I do not even know whether the confiscation was legal and if the prosecutor has taken ownership of the said vehicle or if they will return the vehicle. Kindly clarify the matter with the Islamic Revolutionary public prosecutor of Iran and inform me of your findings.

With gratitude,

Paridokht Vahdat-Hagh, wife of Colonel Engineer Hosein Vahdat-Hagh
