Urgent city telegram

Mr. Mehdi Bazargan, beloved Prime Minister of Iran

With utmost respect, we inform you of the following.  During the last 135 years, the oppressed and defenceless Baha’i community has been faced with various calamities and atrocities, and has been attacked during every historic event and transition.  We had hoped that, these days, such incidents would not be repeated.  However, despite the previous telegram containing our appeal, the attacks on the establishments and offices of the Baha’is continue, and now inquiries have also begun at the homes of [Baha’is].  We beseech you to issue the appropriate orders.

Dr. Hosein Naji
