Occupation of Centre of the Baha’is in Tehran

As a result of the detailed speech against the Baha’is that was delivered by the famous preacher

Mr. Falsafi at the Soltani Mosque, and was broadcast on the radio in Tehran, public opinion in Tehran and the cities was attracted to this issue.

Speaking yesterday, Mr. Falsafi said that he had been informed by the military command at 10:00 this morning that the Ḥaziratu’l-Quds (the centre of Baha’is, located at the northern end of Shahpoor Street) has been occupied and besieged by the military regiment.

Yesterday, the military regiment issued Declaration No. 93 in Tehran on the subject: “Since there was the possibility of the occurrence of adverse events as a result of the anti-Baha’i propaganda, the Military Governorate has occupied the Ḥaziratu’l-Quds in order to maintain its safety, and has demanded that public refrain from any acts contrary to law and order.
